  1. I don't think we'll see much (any) sun as outbreaks are already occurring to our SW and moving up..some "red". Winds have definitely increased/ 63F.
  2. That may be borderline and yeah protect them if you can but I left plants out w/sub 32F and they were fine or recovered. But if it's night after night then that's a problem. Also you may hit sub 32F for a very short period (4-7am) which I think is minimal...sun pops up all is fine.
  3. Sounds like a weenie. It will be below normal the rest of the week which I don't mind at all so Spring still on hold for the time being but I don't see severe cold destroying your vegetation... 62F/low clouds/gusty
  4. It's a weather forum...what do you expect? No one wants the virus to spread any further and hopefully reduce but life goes on including weather...
  5. Sun will certainly ramp things up. There's quite a break to our W before more activity so we'll see. Gusty winds (20-25mph) currently w/low clouds. 61F
  6. Yeah, first round just about over. Solid rain, gusty but I don't think winds went above 25mph. Later today may be interesting though... 60F
  7. Lol...FOX29 at 10pm w/Kathy Orr took it a step further. During her visual "bullet points" for tomorrow she had "gust up to 80mph". So basically some of us will experience a Cat1. My trash cans should be fine and kite flying should be a real blast....
  8. ^Storms to the SW coming up look strong but 60-70mph seems aggressive for our area.....I'm buying a kite.
  9. I saw it on air/tv but their website updated an hour ago. https://6abc.com/weather/philadelphia-forecast-accuweather-pennsylvania-new-jersey-delaware/49644/
  10. Just watched Ch6/Accu weather, really going nuts w/the wind tomorrow w/a forecast of up to 70mph. I seen winds up to 50mph which is strong.....somewhat rare gust up to 60mph....but 70mph w/o a tropical storm is really rare. Considering a good dump of rain and the predicted winds stuff will come down.
  11. This has been the year of the the high wind watch/warning...currently a warning. Received 2 text within a minute so NWS must mean business...lol. Crappy timing though as trash (cans) go out tonight....should be flying all over the place tomorrow. 62F
  12. Nah...I'm still a hippy. No haircut yet...probably the longest since high school in the 80s. I may have a couple beers, jam w/some Iron Maiden or Judas Priest and bang my head! Only some branches down here but roads seem to be impacted...road obstruction.
  13. Winds apparently causing problems in Mont County w/many electrical fires..
  14. Yeah, I see that but doesn't look too impressive. Winds are kicking in now though...
  15. Pretty much a 3-4 min blast then done. Brighter skies as I type...
  16. Man, this narrow line is moving! Winds have increase along w/large drops. Should get the main line in 15 - 20mins... *Hurricane Agnes, using GRLevel3...very nice.
  17. If correct, I don't see that as good news at all. Keep it cool for as long as possible. It's only early April and we know we'll get blow torched/ above normal at some point till/through Sept....no need to rush it.
  18. Thanks for the info. I use RadarScope for my phone as well. I heard of GRLevel3 but never checked it out...it may be time now. Hopefully we get some storms tomorrow then a "Fall Like" Fri and Sat with winds. Already up to 63F so hitting 70+ should be a lock...
  19. What radar programs do you use and which one do you think is the best? I had continuous rolling thunder for quite a while overnight w/some rain...not sure how much? Blue skies and bright sun now and expect to hit 70+. 58F
  20. Looks like we may get some storms overnight/tomorrow morning in the 3-7am range....70+ temps tomorrow.
  21. Is it me or when the host of major networks (CNN, FOX, MSNBC) ask a question to doctors, specialist etc much of the time when they respond the first thing they say is "That's a great question" "That's a good question"....it's as if they are stalling.
  22. I'm all in with that plus more rain will keep the pollen count down. A win - win...
