  1. Never heard of that but Elliot was king of KYW back in the day.... Noted.
  2. 30F....DP jumped, skipped and hopped to 17F. Hopefully things start falling when the radar shows they should be falling....
  3. Amen to that. I remember a storm in the 70s where Herb Clark kept saying the moisture is not reaching the ground. I was like, WTF does that mean. Needless to say that storm busted low.
  4. Well then, that's a whole different story. 13F DP in North Wales. Virga is highly annoying...may be in my top five pet peeves.
  5. Best thing to do if you're up, check the radar and locations 100 miles away and see if they're reporting snow. You'll get a estimate what to expect when it arrives in your area. 18 dew point isn't too bad. There are times when it's in single digits where I worry,..
  6. The kitchen sink stuff seems to hang around till mid June in mall parking lots especially if you have a weenie snow plow driver. It's like one big mound of ice... 32F/ clear...let's get down as low as we can
  7. We've had snow around all winter just about in one place or another and looks to continue... 34F/Sunny....get your vitamin D while you can.
  8. Cecily set this Karen Susan chick straight. Complaining just to complain and not knowing the facts. Sounds like the "off topic" section on this forum...
  9. Hot off the press, Accu-weather spring forecast. Winter lingers.... https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-forecasts/spring-forecast-2025-us-faces-split-between-warm-weather-lingering-chill/1739823
  10. Got right behind a brine truck this morning. My brake lines were cursing in pain... 31F/Parly sunny
  11. I don't see it being rough at all maybe just maybe backroads little dicey that's about it. Local burbs with the low around 29 or 30 plus they will brine today, should be mainly wet. The city should be no problem. Freezing rain sucks when it's in a low to mid-20s but near 30 it's mainly wet on the roads. Trees and branches are different story.
  12. Yeah, I guess I'll wait for the sound of pings on the window early morning. Birds are on my mind, this is secondary and a plus.... 28F
  13. They will brine the roads today, it'll be fine. It will go above freezing tomorrow and everything will be normal. For snow fans this sucks.
  14. Move closer to the world my friend....
  15. You may need additional nap time for overnight starting events....start the wine around 3-4pm, dinner, then a few hours snooze and you'll be good to go for any overnight activity, I'm sure of it... 38F
  16. Ryan Y'all and stuff like that...little ice never hurts. 44F/Mostly cloudy
  17. If whacked means 6+", I'm not seeing it....even 4 inches seems a stretch. Kind of want to get slammed by a sleet or freezing rain event. The snow thing just isn't working around these parts....
  18. Ralph going crazy, but yeah... 43F Really hard to concentrate on weather with the Birds Super bowl coming up.....
  19. 41F at 5:05 a.m., feels like spring out there compared to 20s, teens and single digits...calm, no wind either, dead quiet.
  20. I expect a little fun overnight but why are we hopefully hoping it switches tlo rain? Hell, give me all the frozen precip while we can... before you know it we will be sweating our balls off.
  21. Totally agree. I find it funny long time members still buy into this shit. Been burnt so many times. Give me a Superbowl and I care less about all this stuff...
  22. 48F here, more clouds than sun but sun making a guest appearance here and there...still may make 50F.
  23. 30F with steady light snow. Already a overachiever in my book with a little more to the West. Really didn't expect much of anything...
