  1. Missed the worst of this. Not too sure about the cottage on the water in MD. Radar looked insane!
  2. Sort of scared of T-storms. Might bug outta work a little early. That Thursday storm a couple of weeks ago was heck-drove home right into it. Last year a bad one came thru and the wind broke a window on the house. Won't forget that crashing noise. Year or 2 before that lost a shed. Literally blew off the foundation and came back all mangled. Have a feeling these maybe some heavy hitters. Radar lighting up with warnings north and west of here.
  3. Record breaking day today in parts. I'm @ 97F dew is 69 which is weird but doable. AC's have been running non stop.
  4. 95F Dew of 75 so feels like 109! I truly cannot remember hitting 100F out here in the country. Like seeing all your readings at different locations. Anyway you slice it, it's HOT! One last reading. 70F in my living room.
  5. PECO said 7 pm. Tick tock! Let’s go! lol All good here no damage that I can see. Opened the windows and looking forward to a drop in the dews. I’m seriously old and can’t take it! That storm was intense though.
  6. Drove home in it. Tornado warning right as I was sprinting to the door. Traffic lights and of course my power is out
  7. Southern Chesco fared well. Some heavy downpours and thunder. Lost power. Had to come home to fetch a big delivery off the porch. It's not soaked but have some wet cardboard. Power is on here. Heavier stuff was northeast of me, and yeah Jersey getting hammered.
  8. Dry at the moment. Gusts coming. Gotta tell ya I don’t like high winds. Hope my Eagles banner makes it. Cooking early in case lose power later. I do have propane for when temps drop. Hope I don’t need it. Weird convection set up.
  9. Gonna get some flakes on the banner. Shame it's going to rain after this. Ugh-this winter.
  10. A little snow tonight only to get washed away tomorrow night. Ugh this winter. At least it's been better than last year.
  11. I had a power outage early this morning. Restored in an hour so yeah hope no ice accretes causing any sort of power trouble for Sunday!!!
  12. I was watching some of live coverage down there. WSWs all the way up to OBX/VA line. Just think if there was some blocking out there in the ATL. A site you don't ever really see
  13. Thinking of postponing having folks over on Sunday-NFC Championship game is 1st this year so another 3pm start next Sunday!
  14. I think the media being pretty hard on Hurts. I mean he threw a good ball right out of the gate. No TOs and I'm Ok with the conservative play calling. Of course, GB has a good defense and not many WRs were open. Here's hoping we get a good game on Sunday both rushing and passing. Our D is just unbelievable this season! They win championships! Following y'all that all this cold air doesn't get wasted on a bunch of dry windy days!!! Go Birds!
  15. Random banter for the day: Amazing what you see after a storm. Impressive wind gusts out there, just saw a car dragging a gallon milk jug under it. Some people don't know how to secure their trash and it's all over the street. Driving in this morning I'm behind a car with FL tags and his roof and total back windshield still covered with snow. Octorara was closed again today as they can't keep the roads clear with this wind. I imagine it's pretty crazy out that way with blowing snow. Anyway, wishing my life away until Sunday at 4:30. Ready to roll and I'll gladly take another couple of inches of snow on Sat! Have tix to Longwood Gardens on Thursday.
  16. Saying this nicely, but we weren't even close to warning criteria despite being issued one.
  17. Teeney Tiny flakes taking forever to accumulate! Did have some heavier SN fall about an hour ago for about 10-15 mins. Eyeballing an inch so far. I live on a main road and there's not much traffic right now and it looks to be slushy, cars and trucks are moving slower than usual. Furnace is getting a workout, and I don't want to look at that fuel gauge! Also, grateful I can work from home on days like this. 24F
  18. Sorta liking my spot never thought I’d say that. Hoping for the 4-6 range. But if it ends up 2-3 and stays all week I take.
  19. 27F. Some flurries out there this morning.
  20. Lancaster county though I'm not sure of exact location. EDITED: Top of water tower at Millersville U I left the office to finish my workday at home and the sun was still peeking through the clouds. While driving a whooping 7 miles you could see the clouds closing up and currently have light flurries.
  21. Had lightning at 52 degrees like it was summer on New Years Eve. Couple of down pours but calm now. Hopefully Wiggum rule going into full effect. Wind Advisory for tomorrow. Happy New Year All!
  22. This Afternoon High: 37 °F Mostly Sunny No sun here.
