Picked up almost another 1/2" overnight of rimed-flake sand. Whitened up everything and layer down some traction over the layer of ice. Wasnt expecting that this morning. Pleasant surprise.

It has either switched to sleet here too, or has quit altogether. Visibility has increased dramatically. Eyeballing around 3" on the ground.
