  1. 4 inches down so far. Sleet is mixing in though. So I'm probably close to the end. Impressive thumping. 4 inches in roughly 3 hours.
  2. One occasionally works at 134.
  3. Heaviest snow of the night falling. Quarter to half dollars falling.
  4. Has your temp went up any?
  5. There was a wreck at the 143 about 45 minutes ago. I live a few miles ene of 141.
  6. HRRR at 2am is hammer time over Knox.
  7. Looks like the HRRR had that tongue of zr or ip up the Plateau. It seems to keep the valley in snow for several more hours and it's giving a couple inches to basically all Knox County.
  8. Well shoot. That stinks. It will definitely have a hard time switching back. Freezing rain into several inches of snow sounds awful.
  9. How many puddles are out consuming all snow falling?
  10. Lmao. 911 scanner just got a report of a car doing donuts on the highway and it's now stuck. I love hillbillies in the snow. Like as not some good old boy will have them pulled out before the police get there.
  11. I told ya February was prime time for the mid-state! Congratulations. Frozen from Memphis to Johnson City is rare and hopefully we achieve it here.
  12. Still pure snow. Not even a single sleet pellet tonight.
  13. I would honestly not pay much attention to TWC in situations like this. Future radar has been showing rain over the south end of the count for the last hour. It's not close to happening once verification hits.
  14. I don't think it's been cold enough for that here but maybe.
  15. Is this ptype remotely correct in the valley?
  16. I just heard a low muffled rumble but the closest lightning appeared to be in NE Alabama. Could have been a plane but they virtually never cross my area low enough to hear.
  17. My phone isn't fast enough to catch the flakes without making them look like streaks!
  18. That's some weenie of the year material right there!
  19. Is it melting in all the puddles?
  20. I can just about guarantee 75 is going to be a mess.
  21. About 20 minutes after it got going.
  22. So far, it's dry snow with temps in the upper 20s. Maybe the power grid here into Kentucky will get a break.
  23. I'd say right now it's covered from Rockwood to Memphis.
  24. Finally saturated and is now pouring here. Flake size is nickelish.
