HRRR is high and tight. Nothing like concensus 12 hours out.

GFS is relatively tame for much of MA outside of SE/Cape. Congrats Darien and Westport, CT

Nearly 6” in that. Absolutely did not expect that.
Neither did she.

Barring anything dramatic, I’m feeling good for here on all models.

Mine is gassed up, tested, and ready to roll. However, that may be the jinx.
Mines not starting, so there’s the lock.

Might get one in this storm too. We watch…it does have implications for Sunday afternoon especially.
True shuffles don’t begin until precip shield is in southern NJ. That when you start extrapolating the radar and realize the heavy stuff is shifting south.

I miss the Messenger Shuffle - wish we still had those but maybe models are too good now. Or maybe they occur more when the confluence press is strengthening, rather than waning.
I feel like any jumps now are typically just noise, and wobble back after a couple cycles.
Still happens. They’re real and they’re spectacular.

I had the exact, same peak settled depth. It was absurd that they tossed it.
They would have kept if you were in Lunenburg and said 38”.

question for tomorrow is whether we get a Messenger Shuffle or some Jeff Jumps.

Ya exactly everyone north of that is solid for several inches. That jump north last night just made that dashed area a hell of a forecast.
Good old New London/GON. Gotta love it.

That's okay. You can help her in other ways.
Too bad we'll be looking at the same bare ground after the next system goes through.

Do you close it up for the winter?
No. I'm up there throughout the year. I like having to shovel in two places.

A lot of worrying from some that sit in the middle of guidance.
I've had no interest in making a trip to Pit2.

Give me a few more tics north before the last minute messenger shuffle, Could be a fun ride next 10 days or so.
Up there could be fun this whole stretch. Down here, I think whatever coverage we get this weekend will wash away with the next system.
