It was a 40 hour storm roughly. From maybe dawn hours on Friday 12/11 to late Saturday evening 12/12…some areas may have started slightly earlier or ended a little later but 99% of the impactful parts of the storm were on 12/11 and 12/12.
We need more 40-hour storms.

Measured nearly 2" on my pumpkin this morning. Not sure how mch we had before the transition.
Figured the pumpkin was a better measure than the pavement where it took longer to stick and the grass which would have padded the measurement.
Nice suprirse.

In the end it just means rain. Whether it's a 60F rain or 38F rain.
In November, I’ll take the 38.

Hey all.....I had to get a new computer and no longer have lost the booksmarks I had for my good modeling sites. I don't recall which ones I was using so will be starting from scratch. If you have any that you find useful, tia for sharing.

Should we be comforted by the BOX forecasts for the weekend are saying "showers" rather than "rain"?

Lots of crickets out there chirping this morning. Never ending summer. Shorts season continues unabated well into November
Saturday will be the wetter day but some showers may linger into part of Sunday along with gusty winds. Then dry but chilly weather returns early next week with a potential for a widespread frost Tuesday morning.

Just finished mowing....hoping this'll be the last of the season. At this time of year, I have much less focus on the lawn looking good, but might my gut says I'll need to get out there at least one more time.

Heavy rains yesterday and last night here at Pit2 along with what I hope was a last hurrah at about 6:00a.m. which was apparently the front as the temp's dopped. Looks like we wound up with a couple inches=plus based on area reports.

Winds are cranking here at Pit2. Most boats were taken from the water but a couple just moved from docks to their moorings. Those three have moved noticeably overnight--hopefully that'll stop.

If this had been January and I was sitting under a stationary radar hole like I was yesterday, I'd have lost it.

seems much cooler than it is with the breeze this morning.

so......should one make a choice between a fall (september) treatment vs. seeding? Or, can both happen with good results?
Thanks!

I'm hoping BOX puts out a rainfall totals pns for today. It was pretty unbelievable in Dudley--I'm sure we weren't alone.

Once this passes through, is that prett much it until later afternoon?

Does this timing/placement look reasonable?

I'm guessing we got very little rain last night.
