  4. Ahhh... I see whos to blame now.. Whats great is knowing 2/26/10 trumps all these recent KU events
  5. Yeah it is pretty amazing how the coast continues this run of monster storms. 6-10 looks like a solid call for the area.
  6. I agree 100%.. I can do without the wind. Even without the NAM most models print out a good 8-12" snowfall for the area.
  7. How are temps in the upper levels? Surface temps? Ratios? You da man!
  8. Did we clear out last night? Looks like I dropped down to 7.4*
  9. 4.8" final here.. Lgt Snow stuck around for a better part of the day.
  10. Snow coming down at a moderate clip.. About 3" of accumulation
  11. Yeah plenty of people still get around it but if your caught your done.. I have alot of house buddies who are in the Poconos but their "address" is still in NYC.
  12. The great thing about working for the fire department is the hours and I only have to do the drive twice a week. The only negative is that I am restricted to about a 60 mile drive.. Not allowed to live past Orange/Putnam line..
  13. Hey...Nice to see ya again.. You live in the new snow captial of the northeast..lol That area from Chester/Harriman/Monroe/Highland Mills is a snow magnet.
  14. I believe the NMM is a higher resolution of the NAM and it gives parts of the Orange county & NW NJ .75"+ of qpf.. I think the meso models are the way to go right now
  15. 76" out this way... I believe parts of eastern Orange county were around 85"
  16. 80% of my street by itself consist of city workers... Including myself Distance wise ..Monroe to Manhattan is the equivalent of Smithtown to Manhattan...
  17. I remember when a few of us said enough is enough and petitioned to start our own thread. At the end of the day we technically are still part of the NYC metro but snowfall wise its a different world. Its funny how they think Orange county is soo far away yet Suffolk county is "down the block" so to speak..lol
  18. 12z NAM gives SWF .64" I think overall look for a general 6" snowfall for the area with locally up to 10" in some of the intense bands.
