  1. She's having an identity crisis. I dunno about any of that, but since the GFS hasn't been consistent, 0z will be probably completely different.
  2. GFS slides from Wilmington to Charleston and then pulls a weaker Hugo. Um, ok...
  3. Looks like another goofy solution is incoming...
  4. GFS said "Surprise, here you go interior Carolinas!"
  5. Someone has to make the models great again!
  6. Euro brings Florence ~ Myrtle Beach for Landfall then thru the midlands of SC into Piedmont of NC. Thru Hour 123, Charlotte bullseye in QPF, @ 12 inches in the Piedmont, and 19.5 near Taylorsville in the foothills.
  7. This has the potential to do more than Hugo, and make a similar landfall. I don't care where the models say it's going to make landfall. There's still a big ass cone of uncertainty, and I wouldn't discount Charleston for a landfall until Wednesday.
  8. We're not out of the woods over here
  9. Same here, especially since she's still moving west.
  10. Do you feel further SW corrections will happen on the GFS?
  11. Longer she goes west, the more interior NC should be worried.
  12. Yes... going to be a little brisk for most of us in NC, if the Euro pans out.
  13. Ya, she's trapped. HP to the North, she won't move until that HP slides in and kicks her OTS.
  14. Been lurking, before coming out of my hibernation. Starting to peak my interest for next week. Euro said Friday is going to be a brisk day for me! Precip Amounts
  15. I agree, but it's not the most exciting sport, IMO. I have the utmost respect for anyone who makes it to the Olympics.
  16. Rest of February looks about as exciting as curling in the Olympics.
  17. Long Term Summary: SER makes us it's bitc* Wedge makes a cameo
  18. Well... I do like chasing severe wx, my ex and I loved summer. As soon as the weather radio went off, we drove into the storm
  19. I'm glad we have a break between tracking storms, I need time to collect what marbles I have left. Life for a professional weenie is tough
  20. I want another one of those Feb 2004 events. Ended up with close to a foot, parents in Lake Wylie got 16". Being in that 22" bulls-eye would have been great
  21. Hey... 70% of the time, he's right every time!
