Through 90, continued improvements with the ridge out west, more dig of the SW. High slightly west in the plains.

Better dig out west through 72. As noted above, western ridge is better.

Before the Euro. Someone mentioned the UK and comparing it to 0z, it took a big step towards a snowier solution. It was way east at 0z.

Never lose 850's north of EZF through 126.

Better dig of the SS SW. A little slower as well and as others have said, better ridging out west.

ICON for Wednesday looks like some light snow to frozen precip. Nothing extraordinary for anyone even up the coast.

The bookmark feature is nice and I have set it to be able to jump to all the important stuff. The model lab page has the in individual frames for the eps and gefs laid out instead of scrolling one by one in the other frame.

Biggest sleet memory I have was 96’ living in Stafford. After about a foot or so of snow we were hit with wind driven sleet for hours that was so bad we were building snow walls to block it lol

Get a full transfer and not have the OH piece hanging around and I agree for us down here. You get smoked this run.

GFS is close for Thursday. Temps just struggle to crash. Need the Ohio Valley low to transfer quicker.

Yeah. Both the 0z and 6z aren't impressive at all with the Monday deal but tons a good solutions for Thursday.

Then the trough over Alaska retros over the Aleutians and you can see the response on the west coast as ridging will start expanding into western Canada (hopefully) as @psuhoffman said earlier with the 6z GEFS. Could be rushed but end of the month into January looks far from a Nina...
