Euro showing similar ticks of the heights north in the east the rest of the 12z suite has shown.

Yeah. This is tough to even get too excited about yet. Basically a Nowcast of where that thing even sets up.

Develops over the region on the GFS.

It's weird cause I though H5 was sharper going into it. Precip just never gets going.

Definitely a fun few hours through the corridor. Its got that skinny stripe of snow the basically develops over us.

So the ICON isn’t terrible. Nice step

The window is pretty closed for anything more than we have seen already. I think best case scenario is a broader precip shield with like .3-.4 qpf but the flow is so fast there is little margin for error and any step back in the orientation of that PV lobe (ie ICON) and we could be left with nothing.

18z EPS a tick better. The euro was very close to a better solution with the sw a bit more south and west.

Don't hate this look and its a bump up from 6z

EPS looking a little better on the limited maps I can see on Pivotal. Further south mean of the LP off the coast and better 6hr qpf panels.

This one is a little different than the previous waves we have tracked this year with the PV lobe, some phasing, etc. Small adjustments in the orientation and sharpness can change the on surface outcome (for better or worse). Lets dig that thing as far west as possible.

Euro had the same trends at 500 that we saw on the GFS. Couple more ticks and the LP gets going sooner...

For future runs, watch the sharpness and how far west the SW can trend. Good signs the last couple of runs.

Snows most of the day Friday, albeit light on both 3k and 12k
