    I am in Brentwood, NH. Down to 9F. Wind chill, -12F. It’s a bit windy. Hoodies, vest, jacket and coat when traveling between office and plant. Plant is not environmentally controlled. .

    I conquer with my weather station....24.8F was lowest temp. My average temperature for month was 39.9F. And most impressive, my average humidity was 77%.....IN JANUARY.

    Mount Washington is a “7 wonders of the world” for any weather weenie. I have been there (late summer) and it snowed the morning I went up the mountain. Truly an amazing place. .

    If it ain't gonna snow, I rather have it in the 50s so I can grill some steaks while waiting for the game to start. Cold is only fun when you know it is setting up the stage for a snowstorm. I am dreading this cold blast coming in this weekend.

    I was in CT this morning, but my ring cam showed snow cover on grass, roof and cars. I’m just north of Willow Street. .

    Agree. Cold near by is better than seeing 850s shoved way into Florida. .

    GFS has kinda showed this as well. .

    And 12Z GFS looks loaded with chances….at least cold is there .

    I think it’s a little untimely bad luck and the effects of a new climate regime. .

    The third storm on the GFS has a chance. Better blocking, cold air available. That one, has my attention. .

    Wow, -81F in Siberia. Coldest in 31 years. .

    I have seen snow accumulate 15” at 35F in Jersey. It was during night hours. .

    I agree. No need to change until there appears to be a legitimate chance.

    No argument there. I was at least a little optimistic with the GFS ensemble runs. Let's see what Dr. No has to say about all this.

    Agree. If we had an cold air prior to both of those events, we would at least be looking at thump to rain/drizzle.

    And next weeks storm is following the same type of path. Less and less snow as we get closer and closer.
