    Cold air was always too far north for this one anyway.

    I always respected Channel 8 as it was the only VHF channel. Growing up as a kid in NYC and PHL area in the 80s, only the “off channels” were on UHF. Showing my age, lol! .

    I know there are comparisons to Nov 2014. I was in the heart of that one in South Buffalo and Lackawanna. But I’m thinking Nov 2022 is the winner. The sure volume of snow in 24 hours and the thunder and lightning is too impressive not to give it the winner. .

    I’m going to SYR Sunday and thought about taking a side trip to BUF. But I can’t risk getting stranded. .

    If they play the game. When I was up there for the 2014 Lake Event, almost every road was shutdown. Only reason we were able to travel the roads is because we had high visibility vests and the cops thought we were there to help dig people out. .
