    Longer days, soft breezes, cooking on the grill, eating outside, working in the yard, playing golf, baseball, fishing....doesn’t get much better, can’t wait!

    Completely agree. I lived in northern Massachusetts and we had 74 inches of snow the winter was phenomenal, the fall incredible ,summer was great but spring took freaking forever! I remember many days in mid to late May they were in the 40s it was just brutal.

    I’m good with snowstorms followed by warm days. Always track the snow but not interested in cold and dry.

    Great map! I’m in Newark and have had 16.5 so far. Just to the south of me (Middletown etc) has had much less. Some of that is typical but much more pronounced this year. Similar to DC, certain areas have gotten screwed. I know you are pointing to other factors that could be driving it- and I don’t disagree- but some of it has been sheer bad luck on where the bands have set up. Too early to know if it’s a trend or just an aberration.

    Agree. But even given that dynamic, the disparity between DC and suburbs vs Philly and suburbs is even more dramatic this year.
