  1. I think we are in the subsidence zone between the two main bands. Sure its snow alright....but not anything special.
  2. Father lost power in Brockton. Winds starting to pick up here. Snow bombs falling off trees. That may help us keep power through this thing if wind can knock snow off stuff
  3. You know....you're right. Looks like I run about 2 degrees warm.
  4. 35.2 F. SN- ~1.0" on driveway. More on green areas. Just pushed snow off driveway for first time. Going to be a shovel once an hour type days assuming I don't suck exhaust all day.
  5. Just watched the mailman go up and down my hill at 2 mph each direction.
  6. I have already exceeded my snow total from that SV map. #Winning
  7. 37.6 F. Down ~3 degrees last hour. Probably 80% snow right now. Flakes are bigger than half dollars. Starting to really stick. About 2 hours earlier than I expected yesterday.
  8. 40.1 F here on my hill in south Nashua. Just pouring with giant snow globs mixing in.
  9. The temperature sure didn't feel like snow today.....but the sky had the look.
  10. From my blog around noon. I should probably find a topographical map so I actually know where the hills are.
  11. Don't own a Genny....thinking about cranking the house to 80 tomorrow morning though.
  12. Is there a general rule of thumb for the amount of heavy, wet snow required to start bringing tree limbs down? I was thinking somewhere in the ballpark of 4" or so and then you start thinking about it......thoughts?
  13. All about the flip. After the 00z model suite I was expecting it around noon here. A flip around that time gives us a shot at double digits. Of course.....this is going to be one of those systems where when you measure "by the book" you got 10" but when you shovel at the end it looks like 3"
  14. Well it was nice knowing you all. Will connect back in in a month once the power grid is restored.
