  1. GFS continuing to be much further east than NHC track. Goes east of Atlanta.
  2. GFS just had it's worst run yet. Stronger, slightly east. Gulp.

  6. I figured you would post during this. Good to see you back. I'm only at 2.16 today being a little further east. I bet some places near Old Fort have gotten over 4 to 5 inches already.
  7. In these downpours yes. We have picked up 1.06 in the last 45 minutes.
  8. Bad flooding in Asheville already and the escarpment is getting nailed right now and it looks like it won't let up for hours. Bad situation early in the game.
  9. Back in 2018 when I was living in Virginia there was significant flooding in May. They had a small landslide near the dam making a sensor go off for imminent dam failure and my family had to evacuate and stay at the YMCA for 2 or 3 days while they investigated it. It's been there since the 1920s and seen some major floods.
  10. Just finished with some sandbags here. The main threat is Lake Tahoma dam. If it were to fail, I would lose everything

  13. Schools should be closed Friday. They should go ahead and make the decision. Tomorrow is more tricky
  14. I really like how intentional they are being with the messaging. Surely people will take this seriously.

  16. Guidance has shifted west slightly but we are still in for major impacts
