  1. Yep, top 5 wettest here since the 80s.... I need 1.8" to surpass 10 for the month.
  2. I think I will break 10 inches again if the rain later this week materializes. 20+ inches of rain in 2 months is crazy

  7. We had another .45 today for a 3 day total of 3.35 and a monthly total of 4.3. Probably 3 to 5 more late this week. Another 10" month seems probable.

  12. I went up to Mt Mitchell today and I have never seen so many people on the parkway. It was 59 up there at 3:30 with a brisk wind

  18. Looks like tropical trouble is on the way. The wave moving off Africa is shown getting close to Florida on the Euro day 10 and has been showing up for a few days.
  19. Nice reprieve but most of the area will be 90+ from June 3-5.
  20. Euro shows a deluge and what would be big flooding in the foothills and western piedmont
  21. Could be severe weather for Carolinas Wednesday, looks more like a squall line than embedded cells but could be a strong one Wednesday evening
  22. Heat looks to build in the lower plains and Texas late next week. Still seasonal or cool on the east coast until next weekend at least though.
