Flash flooding is beginning here, luckily the rain is almost over. We have 3.7 so far.

We are over 5 inches already for this month despite the dry spells. I don't think we get to 10 again but it may be close...

Thats wild. Thursday will be interesting for sure

Just when I think we are going to truly dry out for the first time all year, another 2-4 inches seem likely from a tropical system...

38 here, didn't see any frost but could have been some

True statement!

October and November are usually 2 of the driest months. Hopefully that will be the case this year. It is a bit early but it just feels that way since we haven't had a bona-fide fall in years. I remember frost here being quite common in early October.

Its going to come through but it's still going to rain an inch or 2 most likely. I dont see many 30s on any of the models but im sure some of the higher elevations will get there. Doubt it's a widespread frost though the way it looks modeled

I think I will break 10 inches again if the rain later this week materializes. 20+ inches of rain in 2 months is crazy

It's funny because he's in the bullseye to get at least 4 to 6 inches of rain if not more.

Look who I found on Facebook up to his old tricks

We had another .45 today for a 3 day total of 3.35 and a monthly total of 4.3. Probably 3 to 5 more late this week. Another 10" month seems probable.
-
Ended up with 2.65. Don't think we will get much more tonight. I ended up with 2.9. I was thinking it may be a below average rainfall month but I'm right at average now
-
We have been crushed today with over 2 inches of rain already..

La Nina can bring more NWFS but a less active southern stream and subtropical jet

I went up to Mt Mitchell today and I have never seen so many people on the parkway. It was 59 up there at 3:30 with a brisk wind

His winter forecasts range from awful to pathetic, so I consider this good news
