Hi Res NAM at the end of its run doesn't look much better, super splotchy

Now this is a funky QPF map. I don't even get a tenth of precip while 30 miles to the SW gets almost 1 inch

Very true, it's just another item to disect and sometimes can be a precursor to a solid NAM run.

SREF mean is about 3.5 in HKY and 4 in AVL
