What's the over/under on the next SREF mean for RDU? BY the way...pulling for you guys in the Triangle.

Well with tonight's runs supposedly being properly sampled it may lead to some major changes, good or bad...
-
Just cant see any areas West of 95 getting much out of this.. The low needs to move 150+ miles west for there to really be chance for that. Like pack said the EURO/EPS seems locked in

Long Range looks like crap on GFS.. Nice rain chances though! SE ridge trying to make a comeback
-
Nice warm up and rain EURO day 10!
-
I cant wait for the warm up and cutters.. Its very dry here and the river is looking pitiful.. kayak season will be here before you know it and nothing is worse than low water levels!
-
I think too many weenies are trying to decipher and interpret model runs and trends... we need burger/wow/grit and pack

Yea things are not looking good and the early December snow will likely be the best snow of the season for most of WNC IMO
-
-
New EURO just for posterity..
WOnt let me load EURO image but it looks good for I85 corridor and NW gives 6-10 inches and 3-4 down to CLT
-
We have wasted at least .10 on warm bl temps already
-
This is turning out to be quite a storm.. 7 inches of snow/thunder snow in Corpus Christi.. Snow on areas devastated by Harvey.. Snow on the Bayou of Louisiana and over 6 inches in south central MS...

They should upgrade it to warning criteria, isnt Danvilles criteria for that 4"?
I believe so yes. Blacksburg snow map still has us at 1 inch or less lol

Do you guys think after 12z, if the models keep showing this, that they will upgrade the advisories to warnings in southside va?
I doubt it, I am encouraged by the NE wind blowing here now and the dewpoint is down to 25

Kinda curious... why do you guys think mby in Danville, VA are under a WWA instead of a WSW?
Because we are most likely going to waste moisture on rain or mix most of today... I think its a good call. HRRR gives us an inch after a lot of rain.. GFS has us on Eastern edge with heaviest snow in mtns which will surely happen
-
Wow...Boom run for my area back to WNC some impressive totals

The HRRR is SUPER warm at the surface.. 37 in AVL during precip tomorrow...
