I can't find any short range models with snow for foothills and most mountain locations. This one could be a big bust even for those winter storm warning counties.

36.5 here. Clouds getting thicker. Most models don't have it going below freezing until Tuesday evening now for us downslopers

@buckeyefan1 can we get this thread pinned too?

-NAO are overrated. Give me +PNA for a month and a split flow and I will take my chances

We do really need a strong CAD. You would think with a -NAO we would have that but the SE Ridge is still flexing just enough..

Curious - did the temps initialize accurately? I’d say that’s our only hope
It was close. Maybe a couple degrees warm.

Maybe I won't get ridiculed for posting models that don't show the most snow here?

Westmc9th is Asheville. We suck at snow, but we are not foothills, lol. Nothing wrong with the foothills though.... And wncsnow is just negative. He means no harm. He would be excited as anybody if we could get snow.
You know me well

Not to sound like a broken record, but the RGEM has also trended north

We can switch places for now I guess. Cause I've been trying to be really positive the last month or so, but this one's got me down in the dumps right now with every model out there pretty much saying if I see anything it's gonna be rain. Missing this one will put me at two full calendar years without measurable snow after previously never having had a single winter without at least a trace.
I'm headed towards apathy

East TN could get 10-12 inches of snow out of this. Just not our type of system. We need a true gulf tap and gulf low with a 50/50 low and strong HP in NE.
