Basically the firehose of snow has moved a little south and is making it over the Apps better with stronger forcing

Maybe this is the better data ingest and we can salvage something out of this. Even us downsloping folks.

I think it's going to miss us to the west lol.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point if it dove all the way down to the Florida panhandle to give Tallahassee 6 inches while we get 10s and wind..
But seriously, we need it to dig deeper or it will end up being a threat for the NE while east of the Apps gets nothing again

The next storm may have legs around the 19th/20. Looks like it will be colder after that storm than next week too.

Mother Nature truly said “I fixed your drought and that’s all you’ll get”
Just wait until it warms back up and we get 5 inches of rain from the next storm

Yeah looks like modeling is settling in on TN.....amazing how the state line can stop a storm lol
It's the mountains and the fact the vort just dies out.

Looks like it's time to move to Tennessee.
I cant recall seeing snow output consistently give Arkansas, MS, and TN a nice storm just to completely die out and whiff us.

Bizarre weather for sure. The sun came out here while it was raining and the wind whipping. Not the typical weather for an incoming rain storm.
