Actually from what I have seen and what I have read most who were lame with pain before actually walk on day 1 and get the hang of it easily. Many are still as fast as they were. Hoping for the best! Thanks dude
Sorry to hear Ginxy, dogs are amazing adapters to whatever life throws at them. Their personality is always there.
My lab had/has knee problems and hobbled around on 3 legs for a couple months before surgery about 2-3 weeks ago. It’s crazy how fast she figured out how to run on 3 legs while one lamely hung there.

Cool, misty, low ceiling… not really raining but can see water droplets in the air at the base of the mountain.
Only 61F at 1500ft.

0.28” overnight.

The 18z anomalies today were interesting, classic low level cold push from the maritimes. Quite a difference from up at the summits above the inversion. The local summits see close to normal temperatures today, while the lower elevations below the inversion suffer.
Dense, low level cold air going under the warm/moist air to the west. Boundary being the focus for lift and rounds of convection to the west, dying as it moves into more stable air.
H85 Temp Anomaly.
2-Meter Temp Anomaly.

Rogan lol, not the person I would take my info from.
interesting how so many countries have mental health and substance problems but yet America leads the world in gun violence by heaps:
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/share-with-mental-and-substance-disorders
The ship has sailed on the number of guns in the public. The Constitution did it's purpose, it armed the citizenry and this country isn't putting that genie back in the bottle. The posts by @Cold Miser and @amarshall are a place we should be at as a society though. Waiting period, background checks, maybe we need to throw some money at the permitting side of things.
We aren't eradicating mass shootings in the US, but even a 50% reduction would be a win and a step in the right direction. There are things that can happen that allow access to guns for the "adults" of society.

This is up there with about as bad as a June afternoon can be. Not quite like that 40s and drizzle from a few years back to start June, but close.
Is it really that bad climo speaking?
Probably worse over your area.

It is meteorological summer.
Ah good catch. Today starts it.
More like late-spring for everything else. Trees still have that fresh green from leaf-out. Gardens barely getting started, etc.

I hope a tornado comes and lifts the AC into the window
Is it a window unit? What’s the issue getting it in?

I mean you could see the front pushing into Windham County and then it’s like it fell apart. I tried the OKX radar and it doesn’t see it at all??
Starts downsloping after ORH on that NE flow.

Are there any obs down the Champlain Valley ?
It looks like this BD is unclean and fragmenting, possibly getting an assist/preferentially riding along lower elevations. You can see it scouring out along the St L. Seaway, moving W over SE Ontario...then there's some resistance over the Tughill... Then it's scoured out down the C -V..., then more resistance over the lower Whites/Greens... Then it's bulged west like a prom night breast over eastern SNE...
This is the 1:15PM Mesoanalysis from BTV's webpage.

66F and feeling cooler. Front is through up here.
It was 79F at Morrisville-Stowe ASOS at 4:00am…. I’m just noticing that. Holy shit.
79F at 4AM and 66F at 1PM.

I love skiing but that just has no appeal whatsoever to me
It’s the novelty and party atmosphere. Definitely not for everyone. I heard this weekend was bonkers, the lift line looked pretty solid on Sunday. Selling beers and burgers right off the snow, and people had some real elaborate tailgating going on.
They’ll be open with some walking required next weekend too. There’s certainly a big difference between folks who show up for that vs casual skiers, ha. Same in October for 500 feet of chopped ice cubes.

Up to 76F at home. No front yet. Light NW wind under 5mph. Really breezy out of the E in CON now so it's definitely through here. Last ob was 81F so that will be coming down quickly considering MHT is 70F and PSM 60F.
MHT went from 80F to 68F in 20 mins.
CON is down 81F to 73F real fast.

As we draw it up. Lush, green, Chamber of Commerce views and vibes on Memorial Day weekend. Couldn’t be more stoked on the weather the past couple days.
Early warm season, when fresh green leaf-out finally reaches the upper elevations. Late spring transitioning to early summer type vegetation.
That's Jay Peak and Big Jay in the center of the horizon.

Low 80s, dews in the 50s. Hot enough for swimming, but nice enough to do literally any other outdoor activity.
How you draw it up.
