  1. 75/21 for 13% RH. Desert returns this afternoon. This has to be some of the best hiking and Mountain Biking in a while. Just dry dirt for excellent traveling, no mud. Colorado style vibes.
  2. Not going to lie, I was a little surprised at the max temps given the heat/furnace talk, etc. It's hotter up here in the afternoon on many days. Today running 1-2F warmer than him so far... looks like he gets all his warmth at night though. The mins help him average a couple degrees warmer on the whole it looks like but daytime when folks are out and about it looks very tough to get hot there.
  3. Are you the KTolla55 station at 1,000ft with a max temp of like 81F since May 1st?
  4. Keep the dry weather rolling here. This is amazing. Stuff of dreams. Just top 10’ers after top 10’ers.
  5. 43F for the low. A nice 44-degree drop from yesterday afternoon. Crushing some diurnal swings in this dry air mass.
  6. Looks like 87F here was highest. 44 degree diurnal change. 61F now.
  7. This is pretty wild. 82/18 for 9%. Not sure I remember a temp in the 80s with a dew point in the teens in the northeast. METAR KSLK 281910Z AUTO 32007KT 10SM CLR 28/M08 A3005
  8. 86/28 lol. 12% RH Looks like SLK is 10%. BTV 13%. BML at 13%. Just super dry air.
  9. Tickling upward. A few 90s out there now. Definitely warmest north of the Pike into NNE. Looks like the PWS near DIT has hit 80F, so even the massif is getting some warmth.
  10. Here's the updated. A lot of places going to be tickling a dry 90F heat on NW flow.
  11. SLK at 80/26. Some real desert dry air mixing down into some of the mountain valleys.
  12. No, I don't know why it displays like that. That is 4pm UTC.... so 12pm Eastern time. It's current. I'm in awe of 86/29F up here . 12-13% RH is fire weather.
  13. Pretty wild stuff just occurring up here. The wind was E/SE with dews in the 40s.... wind shifted NW and holy crap it's gotten hot and dry. Popping some 86s now with dew points below freezing. 12-13% RH is desert level stuff. Check out the wind shift and the dews dropping drastically with it.
  14. What a day. IZG is actually hitting 90F now on some of the 5-min data... with dews well into the 40s and 20% RH. Looks like NW downslope into NE MA, S.NH, and ME are the leaders so far.
  15. We’ve almost gone up 40 degrees already today and it’s 11:30am. 43F to 81F. Love this weather.
  16. This is how you draw up a Memorial Day Weekend weather-wise. Bluebird every day, warm afternoons, very low RH. Noticed while hiking that a sweaty shirt would dry up in ridiculously quick time in this airmass. Also very interesting to see how long it takes for leaf-out to occur on the northern VT hilltops. It struck me that it is the last week of May, Memorial Day weekend, and the hardwoods are still just budding. It takes a surprisingly long time to go full foliage.
  17. Still got two hours before darkness. You’ll be asleep before a hoodie would be required, beautiful evening. Standing at 3,300ft right now at 7pm, just suffering through it in shorts and a t-shirt.
  18. Got to 81F here too, with dews in mid-30s… 20% RH. 46 degree diurnal swing from patchy frost at 35F to 81F. What a day.
  19. 72F and rising off a low of 35F. Can’t draw it up better.
  20. 46F and falling, but this should be the coolest night in a while. What a time to be alive it seems. Clear sailing for as far as one can see. Goes out through Thursday too, past the NWS icon forecast. Getting warm with low dews. San Diego in New England. Cheers all... to the warm season
  21. Anyone have any model runs from that event? That was the 30+ at Whiteface too. Best possible event for green foliage and snow.
  22. lol yeah I’m ready too. Memorial Day Weekend is time. It has been a bit on the chilly side some days. I’ve gone from shorts back to pants some of these days. Could get rid of the highs in the 50s, sun or not. 70s here on out would be nice.
  23. You'd have liked this vegetation damaging fake cold this morning. 45F at 1,500ft... 37F at 1,000ft... 32F at 850ft... 29-30F under 800ft. 16 degree difference up Mountain Road (108) from near home to ski area.
