Realistically we’re probably looking at a mulch topper but I’m enjoying this last minute shift (3rd south shift of the year). Also don’t mind looking out of the office tomorrow morning seeing snow TV.

At 12z, 850/925 are both -1 in DC but surface is 36 on the 12k. About 0.25-0.3” falls after 12z in DC. Compared to where we were, NAM is a win for MBY. I like this run personally.

I was staying in Asheville for the last eclipse and drove to Sylva, NC (short distance away) and traffic was crazy both in/out of the path of totality. Plan for busy roads day of if you’re driving that day.

That’s a 2 week OP temp map…it’s not worth even looking at. I don’t think anyone can confidently say what will happen the next few weeks. We’ve had plenty of snow in March in the last 10 years.

You need to go ‘chase’ and see the path of totality. It’s breathtaking and just amazing. It’s night/day (punny) compared to even 95% coverage.
