The issue with continued overcast days in the low/mid 60s is that its another week that goes by where we aren't getting normal temps in the mid 70s for this time of year. We'll just flip the switch right to 90 instead of enjoying a few weeks of 75 degree temps.
That was my first question, too. I'm sure unlikely but hopefully it means they're able to maintain the same fees for next year vs the usual small increases that happen annually.
We live in the Fairlington neighborhood in Arlington and the HOA just announced that the pools (there are 6 in our community) will not be in open due to COVID. WTF.
Nice breeze this evening while sitting out on the patio - needed to put a light sweatshirt on.
Sunday evening cocktail is fresh basil muddled with gin & shaken with simple syrup and lemon juice - topped with club soda. Refreshing spring cocktail!
What a fan-fcking-tastic evening. Just took a 2 mile walk through the neighborhood and now enjoying a glass of rose (#basic) on the patio. Today’s weather/this evening has been great for my mental health. I wasn’t sure if I could deal with more chill/clouds (even if we have to go through it again next week).
Blech, I stopped looking when I got to Sunday. Definitely going to enjoy the stretch through Sunday -- hopefully the cutoff doesn't linger too long next week.
The craptastic spring looks to continue on guidance now after we finally see some warmth Friday and Saturday.
GFS has highs in the 50s Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Just awful.
Friday is looking spectacular - mostly sunny and low 80s. Definitely going to work a half day so I can get outside and enjoy an early start to the weekend.
