27 degrees. About 0.6” here with pixie dust falling. Here’s another picture from earlier this evening - not sure how common this is here for early May but for me, this is pretty damn incredible for May 8. I gotta imagine Canaan is well over an inch.

Seems we finally flip the switch on this pattern towards the end of next week. 00z Euro had low 70s next Thursday and upper 70s next Friday in DC.

Light rain. Temp down from an earlier "high" of 46 to currently at 44. Expecting a coating here later tonight -- higher elevations over 3500 (Davis, etc) should get 1-2" I'd say.

As I mentioned yesterday, looks the flip is coming towards the end of next week. Latest 8-14 day outlook showing it now as well. Bring on the warmth as its currently 30 here.

Seems like we flip fairly quickly around mid-month from this awful pattern. 12z Euro OP has temps in the low 80s next Friday in DC (I know I don’t take it verbatim since its an OP at range). But ensembles also showing the pattern change.
