  1. The despair, teeth gnashing, annoying Ji posts, and “welp, it was fun while it lasted” over the next 7 days will make this place feel like an insane asylum.
  2. Hello 186…runs up/down 95. I sure hope people decide to drive on it from EZF to DC again.
  3. Wow, Northern Neck and Richmond getting hammered at 174. Look at that CCB.
  4. WWA for Deep Creek & Canaan for 2-4” tomorrow. Great period continuing for them.
  5. I go back to this page and brush up on stuff: http://www.theweatherprediction.com/habyhints/ There’s a ton of info here but start with the 500 stuff.
  6. Agree with this. I’d think this is an east / OTS solution but we’ll see.
  7. Wow, you picked a good weekend to chase beach snow
  8. Impressive! I bounced between 2 and 0 all night and got down to -2 shortly before sunrise. Coldest in two years. -11 is my record there since buying the place in Dec 2016.
  9. Yep, very familiar. I noticed a lot of new construction signs this past summer driving down through the area. We usually stop at Grandy on the way which is a bit further down.
  10. But the blue!!:Z!>%#!!<<!!!!!!
  11. Pass through Moyock on my way to OBX every summer. Enjoy the storm!
  12. Now down to 0.4/-3. Soooo close.
  13. 1.1 so far. Looks like sub zero will happen tonight. ETA: 0.8
  14. Spring is by far my least favorite season in the mountains…chilly/rainy/etc. I would assume Snowshoe is similar to Deep Creek — 40s…drizzly…cloudy.
  15. @vastateofmind - we don't want to see mud, wet ground and pavement. We want to see snow in spite of that gorgeous pink sky.
  16. Yes, good on you for that! Down to 12/3 at the house - rooting for it!
  17. I was watching that camera earlier and it was legit white-out conditions. I'm happy for Canaan and Deep Creek - they sure needed this after the atrocious start.
  18. Yeah I was simply referring to MSLP, low placement, etc and mentioned the window worth tracking for the very reason you show above.
