  1. Yeah for sure, some changes would be needed there but still just looking at the panel, I'd be kinda excited.
  2. The Bs. Brussel Sprouts. Broccoli!
  3. It's funny. Just by seeing this (and knowing nothing about the tracking the last week), I'd say we were staring at a MECS. Just a bit late getting the trough to go negative is the story for us.
  4. WTF. Doesn't being gay give me another automatic point?
  5. Blueberry Orange Apple Cherry Pineapple Cantaloupe Plum Peach Pear (honestly the last four, I have no interest in eating)
  6. Same thoughts on Old Town. I love the charm / history of it but unless we had offstreet parking, I'd go out of my mind trying to park there every. single. day.
  7. Our friends lived there for years but eventually moved out to Fairfax County for more room - that was the one issue they talked about too...the lack of transit. Although they moved out to the suburbs so there's that ha.
  8. Honestly, we really like the neighborhood we moved into over the spring '21 - Beverley Hills in the North Ridge area of Alexandria. Super convenient to 395/DC (and Del Ray & Old Town) but still very quiet with homes that were built in the 1930s with lots of character, curb appeal, and a great "neighborhood feel". Probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else in this area. At some point, we'll likely move but not sure where - maybe the lakes region in NH or TN or SC - somewhere in the east. I still have like 25 years until I retire so a long way to go lol
  9. ^^ So the 18" that the NAM showed over OBX at 00z last night isn't happening? Time to cancel my hotel room
  10. Just go on a bit of a tantrum / panic about being fringed, and you’ll wind up with a foot. It’s worked for PSU in the past. Lol
  11. Looks like 6z Euro QPF is consistent with 00z along 95 but it pulled back totals a bit east of the bay. 6z 00z
  12. Pulling for you to see a good event. Such a complicated setup but hopefully the goalposts narrow today.
  13. I was just coming here to post the same. There’s plenty of -15 to -19 showing up across Deep Creek this morning which is really impressive. Oddly enough, mine got down to 2.7 earlier overnight but has been rising ever since as high as 7 - which is consistently the same for the other McHenry stations - I’m wondering if there’s some kind of mini inversion since the McHenry stations are at 2800+ in elevation vs near the lake which is 100-200 feet lower. A station in McHenry on Wisp Mountain is at +9 while a station right across the lake 175 feet lower is at -9. Pretty crazy temp gradient!
  14. It’s deceptive. The center is the dot below the L. So it’s due south of OBX and based on the height lines heading NE or NNE depending on the next few frames.
  15. GFS on its own right now for 00z. Red flag for any model.
  16. Good luck to the forecasters along the coast and especially north of us.
  17. Yep the separation/less phasing clearly evident. Certainly doesn’t look like the NAM at h5
  18. Who had convective feedback on their 0z bingo board?
  19. ALEET ALEET The ICON is a trash model and shouldn’t be looked at.
  20. Yeah, undermodeled as is the orographic lift, I’ve noticed. I don’t think this is an ideal upslope scenario though with the position of that LP being that offshore and heading ENE. There’s a good deal of energy on the backside of the trough swinging through so that’s the wildcard. Will definitely get enhancement from upslope but don’t think it’ll be huge. I could be wrong though.
