Nothing at Candler yet, snow shield getting further north than was forecasted. Seems to always go further north

seems like when there is a storm the snow shield will usually go further north than the models show as in last weekends snow did

There's still time for some NW trend but the storm needs to get stronger or more amped up to move the snow shield more NW.

Yep the PV is trending west which allows our storm to become more amped and not suppresed. Lots of time left here to watch.

don't know why they're cliff diving knowing we're still 3 days out the NW trend has taken small steps with probably more NW trend today or tomorrow. Asheville went from nothing to 0.2 QPF

Snow shield is trending more NW overnight, still watching this today.

YEP Buncombe County doesn't even exist as usual, it does seem the storm next week is trending NW overnight like the Euro and GPS are moving more toward the Canadian model. QPF also has gone from nearly nothing to 0.2 around Asheville. Lots to watch.

I'm rooting for the down east and south folks but still hoping the snow shield will come more north than showing right now. I've seen it happen more than not. We still have time for the snow to come north.

Still have 4 days lets hope the trend continues. If that high to the north of us would become a little weaker would help, instead of 1040 drop to 1036 possibly would be what we need

The NW trend that started last night is probably not done with 4 days out, still lots of time.

We hope this happens to get the precipitation shield a little more north and west.

The thing is we're told that there is never enough cold air to get snow then when we do get cold for snow there is the problem of suppression, mercy we can't win for losing. I guess our only hope is the old NW Trend of which we can't give up on yet.
