  1. Rain totals over the last 3 days include East Nantmeal 1.22" / Atglen 1.56" / Chester Springs 1.31" / Devault 1.73" / Glenmoore 1.20" / Kennett Square 1.74" / West Bradford 1.64" / Nottingham 0.93"/Warwick 0.57" and West Chester 1.13". We should see some sun today as we dry out and see humidity levels drop. Today should be the warmest day for quite a while. Highs will be well into the 70's to 80 degrees in valley spots. We start cooling down tomorrow and in fact by next Thursday some of the higher spots may struggle to escape the upper 50's for high temperatures. We should see lows well down into the 40's by midweek as we start the month of Red October - Go Phillies! Our only chance of rain looks to be Saturday night with another 0.25" to 0.50" possible.
  2. You lost me with another climate forecast that will as have the others not verify "Even a one-meter rise in global sea level, plausible by 2100"....it is of course not plausible and in fact almost impossible to see a 3 foot rise in the next 75 years!!
  3. I suspect even if we were to assume (which is a huge leap of faith) that these future climate model predictions were to come to pass....I suspect a change from an average annual temp of 56f (13c) degrees today warms by 4c as in the mid-Pilocene period to 63f (17c) would for folks in that area allow them to easily deal with your scary "unmanageable world" albeit with a longer growing season and less snow. The scam and hoax Trump speaks of are the very words and fear you trade in above. By using terms and images such as "consigned them to an unmanageable world" you are trying to scare folks into believing yet another in a long line of failed climate predictions. Again we are all still waiting for that firsts proven disaster that we can attribute to this scary climate change we keep hearing about.
  4. Climate Depot's Marc Morano comments on President Trumps incredible UN speech. "will go down in history as the most powerful, honest, and accurate climate speech ever given by a world leader. Trump's speech --delivered face-to-face to a stunned UN General Assembly -- was awesome -- historically awesome! Trump eloquently mocked UN climate tipping points and the climate catastrophes that never happened. Trump hit every central tenet of the climate movement, from failed doomsday predictions, to the 'green scam' to the 'hoax' of 'carbon footprints,' to past warnings about global cooling, to how 'the radicalized environmentalists' want to 'kill all the cows,' to how Net Zero 'redistributes manufacturing' to China. Trump reached the pinnacle of his speech by summing up climate change as 'the greatest con job ever perpetuated on the world.' Historians will look back at Trump's climate masterstroke as heralding the long-overdue end of the UN/Gore climate narrative. It was not long ago that most GOP politicians were terrified to challenge 'climate change', but now we finally have a U.S. president who is leading the world in beating back the unscientific climate nonsense." Finally we are moving past the fear mongering of the climate religion!

  12. We will see humidity levels creeping up over the next couple of days. Today will be dry with temperatures well into the 70's. We will again be in the upper 70's to near 80 degrees tomorrow especially across valley locales. Rain chances start to ramp up by tomorrow night and those rain chances will stay with us for the rest of the week and through next weekend. A blend of all models sees between 1.5 to 2.0 inches of needed rain by Sunday morning. Of course, just like we don't shovel model snow - we can't count on model rain to deliver.

  14. Similar temperatures to yesterday across the area with temperatures warming by Tuesday to well into the 70's to near 80 degrees. We then turn cooler for the rest of the week. The good news is our chances of rain are starting to increase by late Tuesday, and showers will be in the forecast for most of the rest of the week. Most models paint between 0.50" to 1.25" across the area. Let's hope this comes to pass.

  16. A beautiful weekend underway across the area. Some of our cooler valley locations like Warwick Township reached the 40's for low temperatures this morning. We should run at least 5 to 8 degrees cooler than yesterday for most spots. Some ridge locations may now get much above the lower 70's while valley spots could see the mid to upper 70's. We turn a few degrees cooler tomorrow before a slow warm up to well into the 70's by Tuesday before another cooldown to close out the work week. We do have some rain chances increasing by Tuesday and looks like it will last through the rest of the week. Let’s hope we cash in on some of that liquid gold!

  20. Today may be one of the last days this year that we see widespread 80-degree readings across Chester and SE Berks Counties. A backdoor cold front will cross the area later today switching our winds to the north and eventually the northeast by tomorrow. Tomorrow’s temperature will be almost 10 degrees cooler than today. Seasonably cool weather looks to continue for the next week with our next slight chance of showers arriving on Tuesday.

  22. Some folks received beneficial rains of up to 0.76" at West Bradford....while others like Warwick Township saw only 0.06" of rain. Here in East Nantmeal we are running at about 50% of our normal September rainfall. Year to date we are at 97% normal rainfall. Unfortunately, I don't see any chances of rain over the week. We will turn warmer both today and tomorrow with temperatures several degrees above normal for afternoon highs. We Turn cooler again for the weekend with highs by Sunday close to 70 degrees.
