Agreed. We're nearing the HHH months of summer when this place is mostly dead. The covid thread was mostly good and another reason to hit the boards. Bring it back! Bring it back!

Might not be feasible everywhere, but limited hours and reserved times w seating capacities could work at pools. My community has 3 outdoor pools w member only access. I'd think you can work something out there. Are you more likely to get sick at the pool vs the gym, trail, beach, etc?

It's been about 2 weeks since I posed the question.....when does our phase 1 start? And, I still dont have a good handle on it. Ball park is prob sometime next week, but we'll see.

One interesting thing I saw on twitter was some school district announcing no snow days next year now that they know distance learning works. That would be some sh!t for all the kids and adults that like snow days. Lol.

From the looks of the covid thread, I think some missed yesterdays nice weather. Biked 35 miles.

This is something I discussed w a friend today. We should prepare for the coasts to plateau, while the heart of the country in middle America spikes.

Each time I visit wegmans the experience changes just a bit. Some things I noticed today.... 1) center aisle blocked in usually high traffic spots in an attempt to enforce one way traffic in the primary aisles. 2) employees temperature checked upon reporting inside. This is out of view of the main shopping area, but I caught a glimpse looking in from outside while waiting in line to enter. 3) now, you place your items on the belt, the cashier moves your cart into a position where it can be loaded. The customer must stand behind a chain until the cashier is done and the bill is paid for. The cashier then unhooks the chain and you walk out. 4) no chicken, ground beef, or ground turkey.

Brats, potato salad, and cake? I offer free lawn service and will take care of all home repairs.

I'll eat the squirrels and rabbits from my yard first.
