  1. If you want some snow go visit Bryce Canyon in Utah. I vacationed and hiked there in the Fall. They average 100 inches a year. They have had snow on the ground since January 1. I view their weather cams and get jealous that I am not there. Check them tonight and tomorrow and watch the snow coming down. https://www.rubysinn.com/live-videos-rubys-inn/ Here is tonight's warning. 2. Took the dog for a quick walk. It’s damn cold. Wind chill of 11. Over the cold. Bring on the warm.
  3. It's looking more like we, closer to Pittsburgh are going to be looking at more mix and not much accumulation both Friday and Monday but just North of I-80 3-5 inches of snow. Unless we get some southern movement of the low the remaining storms are going to me near misses.
  4. Yes, I got to see some snow and sleet on Friday in New York. I really don't mind snowfalls in March because they will melt of quickly with the warmer temps and the sun. I'm guessing we get a coating or so Friday night Saturday and maybe some Sunday night into Tuesday. Let's go.
  5. This weekend storm is slowly moving southward putting us on the edge of some accumulating snow. Then next week we have several chances.
  6. Had to go north to get snow. I’m up in wellsville ny. Picked up 2 inches. Now heavy sleet and freezing rain.
  7. Next 2 weeks have a chance at least. I’m off to southwest New York tomorrow. Hoping to see some accumulation or ice tomorrow night.
  8. Trying to be an optimist... I am hoping for a stormy spring and summer and then maybe next Winter we will get 60 plus inches. It will eventually happen won't it?
  9. Canadian is West also. It looks like I will be driving north into a rainstorm on Friday.
  10. GFS takes low up through Central Ohio and gives big snows to Indiana/Illinois. Canadian transfers to coast and gives us 8-10 inches. I still can’t believe they are still this far apart. On to Monday.
  11. Right now the GFS is heading to the lakes but Canadian is holding east. Next 24-48 hours will be key. Which will move.
  12. I am traveling next weekend. If it is going to verify, this would be the time.
  13. I’ll take this year if we get 70 inches of snow 2 out of the next 3 years.
  14. Yes it has been a disappointing snow year. But some of us, me included say that I would trade the nickel and dimes for a big storm. Okay let’s bring on a foot storm. We have a month left. That’s all we can hope for.
  15. Heck with all this rain showing up on the models it might be a good time to plant some grass.
  16. GFS and Canadian are starting to come around to something possibly next Saturday.
