  1. Keep the thunderstorms coming. NO damage though......Then let's carry it into some large snowfalls this Winter.
  2. A nice little downpour just popped up over me. Nice to wet the dry grass. I’ll take it. Only lasted 5 or ten minutes. A solid .02. lol my temp went from 95 to 88.
  3. 89 yesterday. Currently 86. Wow. Historic heat. It hasn't been this hot since maybe......every summer since the early 70's. And I didn't get air conditioning until 1989. How am I even alive. lol
  4. Hoping to get a few thunderstorms dropping from the north early this evening.
  5. Last 4 days before last night. 46,43,47,45. Airport readings. My house was down to 40 three of those days. Cold when you take the dog out at 6:00 am.
  6. Yes that showed up well on radar last night.
  7. Being a lover of thunderstorms, this has been quite the start of the year for them. Here's hoping for a good rest of the summer and hoping we score with a nice snowy Winter
  8. I hit 29 this morning at 7:00 am. Lots of frost.
  9. Gusted to over 50 mph here. Did not lose power however I heard some transformers blowing in the distance. Some lightning and thunder now after the line has gone through but the pre frontal winds were the worst. Sounds like power lines are down in the area. Pretty calm now.
  10. I’m out on my deck watching. Beautiful show and nice summer breeze.
  11. Storms still back building a bit into Ohio and slowly shifting south. I think we will still get some of this moving in after 10:00. Probably not severe though. A nice light show going on to our north

  13. Lines of storms split and went right around central Allegheny County
  14. My thoughts exactly. Sometimes these days are like tracking thunderstorms in the summer.
  15. Am I the only one looking forward to a few snow squalls tomorrow?
  16. Looking like we may get some snow on Sunday. Snow showers at least and Canadian is showing some possible streamers putting down an inch or so. (I know it won't stick long but will be nice to see some snow in the air and maybe in the grassy areas) Will have to watch it closely. Then it warms back up early next week. Too much rain lately my yard has been soggy. More rain to come tomorrow night and Saturday.
  17. We’ve had more lightning strikes this morning than we had inches of snow this winter.
  18. I just drove from Bakerstown down to Ross. I went through a bunch of pop up cells. No hail in my drive but heavy downpours and lightning strikes in 3 of the storms. If we can't get the snow I'll take the thunderstorms.
  19. Funny that this was the forecast just yesterday. How things changed for the better for once.
