  1. They will. 3.5 here. Heading to the nest to watch a documentary on the Punic wars... Think I'll wake up to 4 on a forecast of 4-7. Good night, all.
  2. Albany: According to the KENX radar, a dry slot is beginning to move into the Eastern Catskills from the southwest with infrared satellite imagery supporting this with the indication of mid- level dry air beginning to entrain into these areas. However, with the coastal wave looking to be closer to closing off, it`s possible that these areas could re- saturate and have the precipitation shield fill back in.
  3. You're in a better spot than I am, even only 7 miles away.
  4. I hate saying it, but I think we'll be lucky to hit 3.5. Radar is absolutely wretched from the NYCT border.
  5. Just measured. ... Very close to 2" here. Heavy medium/small flakes. My mom went back to the City today and she said it's sleeting, but maybe around 3" so far.
  6. Pounding...1.5 here. But not sure how western CT gets over 4 based on meso models and radar.
  7. I hate to say it but it looks like 3-4" max based on meso models and radar.
  8. It all comes down to having available equipment for the flight, more so than runway conditions. If you're nerdy enough, and if you know the flight number, using FlightRadar24 or similar, you should be able to get the plane's registration number, and work backwards, and see where the equipment is and what other flights it's running. But kind of useless to do until very early tomorrow morning. I do this on my flights and you have insite into delays hours before alerted by the carriers.
  9. Lol. Did the same thing. Dropped my mom off at the Costco door, then sat in the truck in lot and checked the models. "What took you so long to park the car? I hope you're not smoking again." They never change.
  10. Looks like that rodent in Pennsylvania was right.
  11. Hairy women, covered in icicles. Yeah, baby!
  12. The conference call must have ended at 5pm. All the schools dropped the hammer just after. Cancellations galore, statewide, as expected.
  13. Awesome. Wow...took me right back to those snowy days during college Christmas breaks. As i get older, nostalgia has a much bigger impact on me.
  14. Yeah, that will shut down the entire corridor for a week.
  15. I'm actually looking forward to these 4 upcoming snow/freezing rain/sleet events. I've always enjoyed driving the truck in ice-encrusted snow.
  16. 2.75, Woodbury/Bethlehem line. 19.75 STD. 25.5 Bright sun- Fog burnt off at 900'; still enshrouding the valley.
  17. Eh, seems like that pole wasn't necessary anyway.
