Yeah. I'm right on the sound. Beautiful spot. Cotton Gin fire is a bummer. Really liked that place. Total loss. The main structure was 90 years old and several additions were completed through the years. There's no way they can ever duplicate the layout. And I believe that was part of the charm, walking from room to room not knowing where you were going. I'd wager they don't rebuild. Ironically, I was in Nags Head and watched the Christmas Mouse burn to the ground earlier this year. 2 iconic places. Gone.

I was in the screw zone in Currituck NC. Got just under .50. Most of it from the frontal squall line at 4pm. The peninsula up thru Richmond was BROWN last week when I was up there, so it was much needed for you guys. I wonder if the Sunday Coastal is going to get far enough West for the Richmond area. I hope so.

I follow their movement underground then smash them with a shovel. That does the trick

I was at 97 in NE NC, now down to 81 as I just got into the marine layer sliding down from Va Beach. Interesting day.

I don't know what language you guys are speaking when it comes to brewing beer. Wow. I love great craft beer but I also enjoy sitting down and drinking 10 Budweiser's as well. I'm glad people like you exist so the rest of us can enjoy your craft.

That's an insult to Soto by comparing him to Votto who selfishly pads his on-base percentage numbers by not touching anything out of the strike zone even in situations when his teammates need him to be the guy. As for the game, and the comment regarding the 9-minute lead, they were just pointing out how uncomfortable it must have been as a Nationals fan to watch that game when they were already trailing 3 minutes into the first inning. The stress to endure the next two and a half hours knowing they weren't generating any offense....slowly watching the number of 'outs' they had left...That was the point. Not a Nationals fan, but I watch baseball everyday. Mets fan unfortunately.

Just saw that presser with the Dr. The Most Honorable PM of The Bahamas. I swear it reminded me of Baghdad Bob.....nothing much to see here....most buildings little to no damage...infrastructure in place....locally sourced response...and this was after saying it was a generational disaster. Made no sense.

Much like this past winter, it's been a good season so far for Western folks. Not terrible for metro area, but once again eastern areas getting shafted. Rough day out west. Line incoming looks gusty.

Just got into the best storm I have witnessed in several years. Barely clipped by that discrete cell east of the main line south of Virginia Beach in North East North Carolina. Winds were easily 50 to 60 miles per hour with pea sized hail and cloud-to-ground lightning. Lasted about 90 seconds.

Final daily total .46. I'm not mad, but not a gust of wind, rumble of thunder or lightning. If you told me beforehand this was going to be a normal day with some showers preceding a weak cold front I would have not known the difference. On to the next one.

A Big Nothing here west of Woodbridge. Like really nothing. Radar looks MUCH worse than ground truth. At least from what I have experienced all day. Under 1/2 inch of rain as well.

It's actually the brightest it has been all day here in Woodbridge with the rain coming to an end. I can already see breaks in the clouds to the Southwest.

That's like saying you are somewhere between Washington DC and New York City. I'm embarrassed for you.

Frequent CG lightning. I suspect the gusts were around 40-ish at its height. Good start to spring

Its humid as hell. Over here in Currituck. At least those frozen wins off the sound we've had the past several days are gone. 83 degrees. Haven't turned on the AC yet but it's starting to get warm in the house.

A few hours of rain/sleet light mix, otherwise under .10 of rain so far.

Sleet/rain and 40 degrees

Light rain, 41/31. Its Happening!

One or more of the meso's are gonna paint 4 to 5 inches over our area in the next 10 hour cycle. Just hug them until it starts raining, then give up. That's what I do.

A crappy, stale airmass isn't helping any of us. Need rates at the expense of over amped is not what we (PWC) do well. Either way, its something to track on an otherwise boring weekend.
