    I'm down by the Government center on the Sound. Flakes size ok. Steady light snow to occasionally moderate. So much blowing around over here it's hard to get a very good measurement.

    It's been good but it's just about to get really good! I measured 3 inches at 9:30.

    Yes. It's exploding, unfortunately. Left NOVA for a slower existence. Probably leaving here in 5-7 years. But it's still great living.

    Yes there's really nothing to it but a few traffic lights and one Shopping Center. The population has overgrown the infrastructure and limited Retail. I'm 13 miles south of the State Line near the government center. Just about 5 minutes from Morris Farms which I'm sure you are familiar with.

    It can really mess with the composition of most many concrete mixtures. Pock holes can take months to appear. Not good on your shoes, floors, etc.

    Well over an inch in Currituck but we already had about .5 otg from this morning left over when round 2 started.

    Yes roads are caving quickly. Lose the daylight and we're in for a tricky commute. Meso's have upped the ante giving us 6-8 right along the coast. Courtesy of a little Atlantic influence.

    Flake size is nice. Legit light snow now. Pretty much on time. 27.3.

    Ratios may mitigate the dwindling qpf on the NW side of the shield. Possible banding too. We'll see. 27 and -sn in Currituck.

    Nothing in my area of Currituck yet. Down by the government center. Maybe I'm not squinting hard enough.

    27 degrees in Currituck. A nice coating of snow on everything except roads. Freezing drizzle currently with a N wind gusting over 30.

    Who knows. I'm thinking we're not going to have any road issues until it gets below 30 and that is not going to happen until Friday evening. Round one is not going to produce any problems. It's round two gets going earlier it's likely going to be on the south side and more sleet Friday morning with temps 33-35. Maybe colder up the peninsula.

    There's not going to be any issues on the road in Hampton Roads or Northeast North Carolina until at the earliest Friday evening.

    It's snowing here on the coast in Currituck NC. Just hours ago we had severe storms with intense lightning. A pretty impressive system.

    77% of STAFFORD County has lost power. Jeesh.

    SREF's were garbage with the NW extent of the goods. RR posted every hourly map last night with snow well into WV and PA.

    Big time and they have every reason to. The whole sub-forum is going to chase on Long Beach or Fire Island. That's a very tricky forecast up there as well. I could see the South Shore of Long Island getting a few inches but that's it. I bet you do ok being colder up top and at the surface.
