    That’s doable. Part of the issue is how this comes in. Sometimes it’s like a 2-3hr burst and then gets showery. That will get you the lower end. If it comes in like a wall and really regenerates north of the dry slot because of the 850 WF then higher end of range is possible. That I don’t know.

    I think the 6z euro actually looks decent. It has a big swath of heavier QPF north of the pike which probably happens given the 850WF look and good forcing there. Would like to see that south before we sleet, but a good thump regardless. I still expect a chunk of sleet and maybe even a touch of light rain or drizzle before maybe another inch of snow to end it. Perhaps a little more if we briefly CJ.

    I'm thinking still 4-7, 5-8ish around here still. If the 12z runs don't change much, maybe I'll up it a tad.

    Comparing the runs from 00z including GFS, NAM definitely has the most movement all over the country, so typical NAM issues perhaps. Regardless, it's a srn stream system with a SE ridge. I would say 8/10 times these have ticks north in them. Maybe this is the time where they don't...but I would have your hard hat on stanbdby.

    Everything looks fine to me. Still a signal on the 2nd to 3rd on EPS. Then a relaxation 4-5 or so before some more chances. It's not a lock by any means if the PNA drops though. But it is sort of an overrunning look. Latitude ftw.

    At least BOX circle that area south of pike as greatest uncertainty. They’ll have to take em down there I think.
