From a wind standpoint which is what I think the intention was, it doesn’t. Rain was not either until last 12 hrs or so when guidance showed signs of slowing down.
Some of these solutions are a classic Sultan Signal. Ginxy to the rescue. Even if QPF in said areas is not high, the setup is classic for heavy rain with stalled boundary and low developing.
Interesting how ASOS stations usually drift towards the warmer side vs colder side. I guess with shields etc. it can only drift to the cold side so much.
