  1. I was thinking about that and what happened in the Feb 2013 blizz over the Marshfield area. There are two sections where trees were just mowed down. I was thinking maybe more of a domino effect with wet snow and wind, but who knows. @amarshall can vouch for me. In any case, I have vague memories of March '84. I do remember some tree damage. That storm pummeled the whole NE coast. We haven't had many of those.
  2. Interesting accounts from the big March 1984 nor'easter at this time. http://www.usdeadlyevents.com/1984-march-28-30-noreaster-wind-snow-storms-northeast-esp-ny16-pa11-33/
  3. Can't say I'm a fan of the pattern going forward, but the useless cold is gone.
  4. At least Thursday and Friday mild. Friday looks real nice potentially temp wise.
  5. It seemed like two different areas got hit? I think Runaway had 3” total? Just a joking with the beer. That was a cool event. No snow in Tolland.
  6. Love the old AFDs and product statements they had from NWS. I may just take Thursday and Friday off and sit around nude looping that radar.
  7. With the dews so low, for sure. It will probably bounce up and down all aftn with these.
  8. Cool event 7 years ago. Started snowing during the day and temps fell below freezing. Widespread 1-4”.
  9. I know they are localized, but why not throw up a WAA? Could have done that 3 hours ago.
  10. Yeah I wasn’t trying to knock anyone just saying how those things can really screw things up even if it’s just minor snowfall.
  11. It’s funny how these things (even half inch to an inch like around BOS) are high impact deals. Yet we’ll have school cancelled for 45F temps and bare ground like in CT earlier this year.
