Yeah I don’t understand it. Looks like a BN look to me. But people are acting like everyone called for highs in the 20s with blizzards.

Also, where did this idea of arctic cold and snows come from? I even specifically said that is not happening. It’s a change to something that can support a snow event for NNE and interior….and perhaps more widespread. Somehow that got twisted into saying we are turning into Denali. It’s an overall BN look but we know when highs are still in the 50s in spots…it’s not a January cold spell. Nobody ever said that. But highs in low 40s with low dews can support a winter event inland. That’s how I view this anyways.

Trend for next week is to hug. Would be a great event in mid December, but it’s early in the season.

Torch Kevin is more tolerable than winter Kevin.

Haha yeah it was like a 4-5” event iirc but a great game.

I had some of the most insane mesoscale stuff I’ve ever seen in that. We had about 6” of snow before a flip to rain during Saturday. That night flipped to a 34F paste at my house on west side of Marshfield. Was not really accumulating yet. Went to ex GF who lived at the beach and it was driving rain. However, the walls were shaking with 70mph winds so that was cool lol. It flipped to snow that night with a few inches there. Got to my parents 5 miles away to trees down and about 10” otg. 6 miles NW in Rockland they had 20”. Insane difference in about 8-10 miles.

Lol I mean you can’t get more encompassing than that.

We have had November hurricanes. This happened to limp to the coast as barely a Cat 1. But plenty of oceanic hurricanes in November.

Not for nothing, but the PV at 50mb is unstable. That is nice to see. Getting cut like the Pope from the Vatican.

A hurricane during hurricane season. What an anomaly. It was barely tropical and likely aided by a massive high to the north tightening the pressure gradient. Jesus.

Pretty good chance of some natural help for sure. I know that's probably a small portion of the massive and dense man made snow...but hey it helps.
