Don't have space to post (need to clear images out), but it's your classic stalled WF and lots of convection from robust instability. You can view it on weather.cod or tropical tidbits.
Tomorrow is a little intriguing. Decent mid level lapse rates and good instability. May see a pocket of convection in morning across south coast and then during the day western and central areas, moving east eventually.
The waters are warm for sure. But I guess when you look at the data Dendrite showed...this doesn't seem like a sudden occurrence. Especially if it's dry.
