Usually in these torch winter months we have some big time warm days. The thing about this month...it's just been continuously mild, especially at night.
It's March basically. Between the temps, plants coming up, and birds happily chirping like it's late March...this is what it's been like. It's insane. It's not like we have had days in the 60s. Just mild with zero cold at all.
See I don't prefer it to melt away. I would love it to stay, but I don't weigh snowpack much into my grade simply because we don't sustain it here for too long.
A "great" year is also subjective. You would have to take into account one's climo and opinions on a "great" year. People like Kevin think 2" of crusty pack from Dec-Mar is a great year.
