I have a Japanese maple (forget the name but it’s quite valuable) that I think suffered from Stein last year. I noticed the leafout this year was rather thin. I also noticed a ton of helicopter seeds as well on the branches. Is this something normal, or do trees do this when they are unhealthy and close to dying? I just hope it’s a phase and it comes back next year. -

I’m in an interesting area. High of 76 but NE winds took over mid to late aftn. But Logan and metro BOS further inland love to suck that marine air in. Meanwhile it’s VFR and beautiful 2 miles from the coast.

It is, but as you get older shit happens. I'd rather not risk it. I'm paying for the tons of labor I did years ago. I'm always mindful of form etc.

I do weights with circuit training, but I'm 44. I don't care about looking like a brick shit house anymore. Just want to be in good shape. I'm also mindful of not blowing out my knees and back.

I do have a neighbor's cat always around. But I've seen them hop underneath my car too. I can't deal with these things. -
With work and family, it just is better to get it out of the way. I don't have any time late aftn or evening. But despite being early, it's done for the day.

I actually was surprised last night at the efficiency. I looked at radar and thought ok decent downpours, but it poured much harder than I would have expected.
