    An atypical airmass though. Not typical. We get warm spells but this is up there.

    I saw. Gfs now further east.

    That was a Nina that almost acted like Nino. That winter pulled a lot out of its ass around our area.

    You would have been a disaster on here in 02/03. Very little aside from an earlier December event until early February. Then we cleaned house. I had a crusty 1-2” at my house and Lowell had like 2’ otg all of January.

    Ninos have a good track record of performing after mid January.

    That’s Nino climo usually. There are exceptions, but ninos early on favor interior. Sometimes you can get an early event in interior SE MA like Nov 2002 and 2004. Even 2012 had some events in interior SE MA.

    We literally are in days and days of dews. LOL. Pretty funny.

    82.5 for the high as we seabreezed. Dews in the 70s though.

    If winter storms are day 10 ghosts, then a day 10 cane is like prepping for the coming of Gozer.

    It really takes a special set up. Even glancing blows are hard.

    Maybe in 9 days if this was moving NNE from HSE.

    I still don't like the disjointed trough. Need that thing really sharp from GL down to Gulf.

    You could see two notable things. One was the ridging a little stronger to the north and the first initial trough weaker and lifting out. That allowed for a more srn track. But, the trough that was the feature to help "suck" this up also lifted out. So the only way this got close, was that the ridge to its east actually was dam strong. Otherwise it would have curved NE much more abruptly.

    Looks like ridge builds to the east and helps it brush ern areas.

    Too bad the trough we hoped and wanted lifts out on the GFS op.

    Kids just went back today. But now with sports starting up, weekends are tough for stuff.
