This is a tough setup to model QPF. Every model and every run will be different to a point. But seems like many areas 1"+ anyways. Probably some with 3"+.

I know in these parts July and Aug are more for peak here. Hell my best storm was at the end of Aug last year with wind damage.

Once you get to NYC on SW...you don't need the stars to align like you do in SNE. They have plenty of CAPE usually.

Wow. Big changes overnight. Give them the heater.

We had a December storms drop about 15-18” for you. Also early January gave you I think close to 10”. Ended up near normal or snow. I remember the Feb event. Temps sucked in that, and it was disorganized when it got here. A frustrating winter, but nothing like this past one.

Euro is interesting. It buries the cutoff well south and gets some very warm to hot air moving in late week. An absolute furnace in NNE, especially nrn ME.
