  1. Weakened to a TS just before landfall. But that is an interesting track. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1916_Atlantic_hurricane_season#/media/File:1916_Atlantic_hurricane_3_track.png
  2. I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago. Haven't looked lately.
  3. Cindy was barely a depression here I think. Not sure about 1916. Bertha is the one that strikes me as a decent impact with heavy rain and strong winds. That was in July 1996. Bertha was a TS here.
  4. I like the GFS with a tropical system into the Cape from the SE.
  5. 09-10 wasn't a bad winter for you and I.
  6. Yeah some hints of that. Northern Hemi pattern not an exact match yet, but lower heights over the east happened both in 2009 and currently. That's definitely a big reason for the last few weeks imo.
  7. I used to hate the heat. But man it's good to be outside and doing summer stuff with the family. I don't mind that at all now. Winter is the season now starting to wear me down. It's too long to have permanent November weather like we've been experiencing.
  8. At least tell me 80 and low dews. That weather is terrible. Lately since winter is horrible and lasts 5 weeks now, I welcome a hot summer.
  9. When it was Mitch weather? No thanks.
  10. Monday night into Tuesday maybe? Yesterday had dews in the 50s. Can't beat that in June.
  11. All BS aside, I don't see why we are calling any of this muggy. Like...I am trying to see the reasoning and I don't see it. Pro Tip: If you want to get an idea of how humid it would be, I like looking at the 0-30mb Dews on Weather.Cod. This will give you an idea of what the low level dews are like. Unlike srfc dews that are usually too high, this will show you if we mix out and keep them lower because it is taking into account the first 30mb of the atmosphere, from ground level up to say 970mb or whatever. When you see the 0-30mb show 60+, that's a good indication of higher humidity as it's taking into account any mixing. If you just look at srfc TDs...it will be biased too high.
  12. Looks like summer up in Ontario and Quebec next week as heat breaks off into that region.
  13. Yesterday dews were in 50s most of the day. Tomorrow maybe on s coast and not until late day.
  14. That cell in Eastham had a good wind sig. Surprised no warning.
  15. https://twitter.com/julesdeep/status/1669143545914032131?s=46&t=tG3EO7ottoJCJly2pxMnSw
  16. That is a sick line on the Cape. Wow.
  17. How did Tblizz get .05? His backyard probably got 5 times as much.
