  1. I guess there’s an outside shot of C-1” to the pike, but afraid the low level dry air wins. Maybe eastern PYM county gets some OES, but hi res are really meager all around.
  2. Yeah it’s a little tenuous so I’d wait. Looks like cirrus tomorrow. Maybe a dusting toward Kevin. Blows.
  3. Next week is mildly interesting on guidance. Gonna be a SWFE type look verbatim. It’s just a matter of how much cold air we’ll have to work with. Will it be a 35F rain or snow.
  4. The EPO in early February has been showing signs of breaking down with the big ridge retrograding into NE Siberia. It might mean the colder look in early Feb is abbreviated, but we’ll see. Hopefully we can get something next week. Friday is toast.
  5. Soundings were nice here on the nam verbatim.
  6. NAM was nice on south coast. Mid level goodies get to near pike briefly.
  7. I think for anything near the pike we’d want to see this whole synoptic precip shield modeled further north. Hopefully we see that on tonight’s models. Otherwise 10kts of 850 inflow won’t cut it.
  8. It wasn't insurmountable though. 1-3 to the pike wouldn't need much QPF.
  9. I'm fine...just having fun. Hoping for Ineedsnow's 6-10"
  10. I just think of March 01 as what could have been.
  11. Slightly better on GFS...but not much to show for it.
  12. Hopefully the nam is a trend. But as Will said, Bruce Willis and his dry air is a flag too.
  13. I’m actually more curious about March. I think we’ll need a good March too.
  14. My reasoning is just based on what I see. Trust me I’m not a guy who always goes with persistence. I’m just calling it as I see it. I know very well. February can be good in an El Niño And as I said, I’m not saying it’s a crap month, I’m just a little unsure how it shakes out.
