  1. Too much stuff going on for my liking. I feel like people always forget how hard it is to get a legit cane into SNE.
  2. Little s/w moving into Quebec porks us.
  3. You really need a sharp trough in the GL/OV and stout ridge in the maritimes. These positively tilted troughs won't do it.
  4. You were pooping pants in 2011 when they were looting your neighborhood.
  5. Subtle signs of Stein are appearing. First time all season.
  6. 18/19 got a little lucky around these parts. Was heading for a meh winter before the March snow bomb. There were some fun events that year. The nearly 6" snow event that gave Jay 1.5" of slush at BOS was a rather unique set up away from the water on ESE winds. Then we had that snow to ice here with flash freeze in Jan just before MLK. ORH coldest high since the 50s??
  7. It was like 74/72 earlier. I don't care what time of year it is, sweaty as all hell in that.
  8. Oh I thought it was Nina. It definitely didn't act like one initially.
  9. Day 11 blizzard over 40/70. They always verify.
  10. I meant between euro and gfs guidance. Still way too much time left to be excited.
  11. These are dog days of July. Thoughts and prayers for the uninstalled.
  12. An atypical airmass though. Not typical. We get warm spells but this is up there.
  13. That was a Nina that almost acted like Nino. That winter pulled a lot out of its ass around our area.
  14. You would have been a disaster on here in 02/03. Very little aside from an earlier December event until early February. Then we cleaned house. I had a crusty 1-2” at my house and Lowell had like 2’ otg all of January.
  15. Ninos have a good track record of performing after mid January.
  16. That’s Nino climo usually. There are exceptions, but ninos early on favor interior. Sometimes you can get an early event in interior SE MA like Nov 2002 and 2004. Even 2012 had some events in interior SE MA.
