  1. Good to go for the 20th. Let’s hope to god there’s optimism or we’ll revise Ray’s outlook on the bar table.
  2. But Ray to your point, sometimes the CCB cranks with the 850 jet and while not as intense as mid level deffy....there can be a subby area as you stated. I guess I wouldn't blame the CJ directly...but I know what you mean.
  3. See CJ circulation is rather shallow. Usually any subby is immediately west. I understand what you mean though.
  4. All the memes of “snowy vibes” can’t help them now.
  5. Of course there has been some big events that nailed him and had CJs, but just an overall statement.
  6. Ray calls that area from about me down to Duxbury and just inland an ocean effect circle jerk. Usually if that happens, he’s sucking exhaust because the low is too far SE to really shove moisture towards his way.
  7. I got semi porked jn the Feb CJ where I was. I think I had like 16” or so, while 8 miles east had 30. Another one of those “will I ever see a two foot storm…” questions.
  8. Ha I thought the euro was impressive again at 12z. At least here.
  9. Maybe an interior deal? I just recall that one event on 12/29.
  10. That was a pants tent storm. I think the call was 3-6". Got over a foot of fluff.
  11. Looks to be in the cards. I assume you meant last week of the month.
  12. Southern Stream lift off after Christmas so I doubt it's Stein as some are worried about.
  13. GFS gets it done post Christmas especially interior.
  14. We are a full blown Nino look now.
  15. I don't hate the long range look. PNA spikes into NW Canada later in the 11-15 day. Looks like Big GOAK trough backs towards Aleutians...or should I say shows signs of redeveloping there. Is it perfect? No. But workable for sure.
  16. The GFS was impressive. Not a big inversion, but then gets so wrapped up you have slight CAA at 925mb. So that helps mixes down 60kts in SE areas.
  17. Yeah. It could still tickle east like the last one.
  18. Euro was impressive at 925. Can’t get bufkit like you can for other models though. Gfs bufkit from IJD to SE Ma was eye opening.
  19. Yeah gfs and euro are rather impressive in the eastern half of SNE.
  20. 18z gfs is pretty wild in ern CT on east.
  21. Saw it in an email thread. Pretty cool.
  22. @40/70 Benchmark You see this link before? https://psl.noaa.gov/enso/difference/
