  1. One more batch and then I think heaviest is done. This thing is hard to predict. You'll likely be well over 3" and maybe near or over 4" if tonight has steady stuff. I see OCNL rains into tomorrow. Wild card might be what happens to that stuff getting SW CT.
  2. Decent LLJ into NYC with that low level convergence and steeper lapse rates aloft. So whatever is coming in is rising with ease.
  3. JFK-LGA-HPN and just east are gonna be in trouble. May have trouble getting to Manhattan? At least the uber heavy stuff.
  4. Just drive the police car right through the flooded roadways and create a tsunami.
  5. Doesn’t even need one lol. I’m talking more for summer. Weak sun now. Won’t do much to evaporate.
  6. I never got the rain excitement. Although I suppose if it’s like over 6” that is Phil worthy. I only care for my lawn and I’m happy with incremental amounts when it comes to that. Just no stein like last summer. Looks like it won’t be much here but enough to eff up Saturday. Yay.
  7. I think a widespread three to about 5 inches attainable in some spots will have over 6 inches. But my point earlier was those ridiculous amounts that were modeled over 10 inches probably won’t happen luckily.
  8. On the other hand, euro face plants on these ridiculous solutions it had for much of the area. I’m not getting 6” of rain.
  9. And the airmass aloft is certainly allowing that air to accelerate up once it does converge. We pour.
  10. HRRR looks more like euro now with it going nuts with inv trough and then more of a ccb look. I could buy that. As far as where it sets up, I can't see it shifting that far NE. Maybe SW CT?
