Looks quite mild Christmas to early January. It’s going to take time to break that down I think, especially with no real MJO. -

My point is that unlike recent Decembers that torched, we are -2 and still porked.

It’s much more acceptable if December was a torch. Here we are with some decent cold and still screwed. That’s what gets me. Hope for a good 00z suite.

The mean is really far offshore but several closer members.

If that s/w on the icon is valid, I’d expect to see a low develop nicely.

Primary over Buffalo is a little concerning though. Wish this was a bit south. That would mean the secondary would have to get going quick.
